Hamish was the greatest housemate, best man at our wedding and Godfather to our boys. Over the years we had many wonderful holidays with Di and Hamish in different parts of the world. Hamish was a good friend who will be sorely missed and we are thankful for the memories we have from our visit in October. Condolences to Di and the girls.
Mr Terry & Christine Hawkins
Rest in Peace, Hamish. Thank you for enriching the lives of all you met.
Mrs Anne Park
Hamish you will be hugely missed for many reasons - the Goldsworthy family has so many happy memories of our family time together in Bramhall and Bamburgh - we continue to look out for all of the Lawson family - rest in peace - Goldies xxx
Mr Ian Goldsworthy
Such a moving, thoughtful service today which captured what a lovely gentleman Hamish was. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. Such a loss to every aspect of the theatre. I have great memories of our early days at the Garrick and of the croquet matches on your lawn. Oh that the Bramall Hall pitch was as good! Speaking to Tori this evening we chatted about 'Arcadia' and Hamish's wonderful direction of her when she was still at school and taking on the challenging role of Thomasina. Our condolences to Di and her family. I am sure that you will be a great comfort to each other over the coming months and into the future. Regards, Jackie Longdon.
Mrs Jacqueline Longdon
Will be sadly missed

Mrs Sue Kane
I first met Hamish 40 years ago and have always thought that he was a special and charismatic man. I only got to know him better in the last 10 years and became aware of how humble and supportive he was as a director and how, in spite of his incredilble prescence as an actor, he was a team player and I am so grateful to have worked with him.
Mrs Kathryn Way
So sorry. With much love and renewed condolences. Tim and Denise

To the best Dad there ever was. I can’t quite put into words how much you meant and still mean to us all. A constant pillar of strength, kindness and love for everyone. There wasn’t a thing you wouldn’t do for us all. You have inspired me in so many ways and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. Gone too soon but forever in our hearts and in the hearts of those to come. Emma and Dom xxxx

In memory of dearest Hamish, the perfect husband, father and grandfather. Forever in our hearts.
Mrs Diana Lawson
I truly couldn’t have asked for a better Dad. You would have moved heaven and earth for us if we’d needed it and were, along with Mum, our greatest supporters. Thank you for everything, especially embracing Dougie as your very own and becoming the most wonderful Dad-Dad he could ever have asked for. We will carry on trying to make you proud every day. Xxx
Miss Katherine Lawson
